Terms of Service

Effective July 2026 · RocketHour, Cape Town, South Africa

Agreement

These terms govern your use of rockethour.co.za and the enrolment in any RocketHour programme or starter session. By using the site or enrolling, you agree to these terms. If you are enrolling on behalf of a child, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian. Questions: support@rockethour.co.za.

What we offer

RocketHour ("we", "us") runs a tech-focused online academy and related programmes for children in South Africa. Programme details, age or grade ranges, schedules, inclusions and prices are described on the relevant page and may change before you enrol.

Enrolment and payment

Changes, cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are presented at checkout and form part of your enrolment. We may reschedule or cancel a session or programme (for example due to insufficient enrolment, safety, or circumstances beyond our control), in which case we will offer a transfer to another time or a refund or credit of amounts paid for that session.

Your responsibilities

Safety and conduct

The wellbeing of every student is our priority. We may decline, pause or end a student's participation where this is necessary for the safety or wellbeing of that child, other students or our team. Our supervision applies during scheduled lesson times and within our online classrooms.

Photography and media

Recordings, screenshots and project work are sometimes captured during our sessions and may be used in our marketing, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may opt your child out at any time by emailing support@rockethour.co.za.

Intellectual property

Our name, logo, website, curriculum and materials belong to RocketHour and may not be copied or used commercially without our permission. Projects your child creates in our programmes belong to your child.

Third-party services

We rely on third parties for payments, email and analytics, and the site may link to other websites. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to your use of their services.

Disclaimers and liability

The site and our programmes are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the latest version will always live at this address.
